When I was still in Junior High, especially when I was in grade 10, I was always asking myself and many were asking what strand would you take when you stepped into Senior High. But now, the question always comes back to us and I ask myself why stem, why did I come here.

Choosing the strand to tread upon entering Senior high School is a very important decision. Because this will be the beginning of your path or study in the course you will take in college and in the profession that you will enrich in the future.

Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics is a curriculum that aims to educate students based on a particular study. In this curriculum there is real learning and unique learning opportunities because students are immersed in a real problem. Stem teaching and learning is more than just knowledge transfer. Students become critical thinkers, become creative and so on.

Why Stem? The answer is because of the aforementioned that can be learned and experienced. Not only that, but I have learned that discipline is a big factor for us to succeed in the future. I also chose this curriculum because it will be my preparation for the course I will take in college. With the hardship I am experiencing in the curriculum today, that will be my strength and weapon in the problems and hardships of college.
